Hydroball Technics System is the only perfect
cost-effective solution that eliminates equipment downtime and optimizes
energy consumption of equipment by automatically keeping heat exchanger
tubes perpetually free from scaling.
Operating principle :
Slightly oversized cleaning balls are circulated through
the condenser tubes at regular intervals. As the balls pass through
the tubes, they scour off all scale and fouling deposits (see
Figure 5 below).

Shell and tube heat exchangers / condensers represent the vehicle for heat transfer in central cooling equipment with applications ranging from central air conditioning systems in large commercial buildings and public institutions to complex heavy industrial processes. The effectiveness of heat exchangers is critical to the performance of central cooling equipment.
The
HydroBall System
 |
The HydroBall Technics System has four primary
components:
Ball Station, Hydroactor, Ballcatch and PLC-GSM Controller
- The Controller PLC initiates the cleaning
cycle by opening the power Valve for 40 seconds. Cooling water
rushes into the Ball Station pushing the cleaning balls towards
the Hydroactor.
- The Hydroactor sucks the balls into the condenser.
- As they pass through the condenser, the slightly
oversized balls scour off all scale and fouling from the condenser
tubes.
- The balls are caught and trapped by the Ballcatch
after they pass through the condenser. The water turbulence in
the Ballcatch will cause balls collide with each other, to auto-clean
the balls by knocking off the dirt from their surfaces.
The cleaning cycle is completed when the Controller PLC opens
the return ball-drain Valve for a few seconds. The balls are sucked
back into the Ball Station, ready for the next cleaning cycle.
